Star Pipe Products and the state of Oklahoma recently announced Star Pipe Products has acquired the assets of Coffeyville, Kan.-based Jensen International and its subsidiary Jencast out of South Coffeyville, Okla.

Jensen International is a diversified manufacturer providing casting, machining, metal fabrication, assembly and production of customized cast-iron and ductile-iron products.

Star Pipe Products noted the acquisition will allow it to continue the operation of manufacturing domestically made cast-iron and ductile-iron products in South Coffeyville. It intends to expand the existing facility in Oklahoma and install new and updated equipment to expand its existing production and produce for its own requirements as well.

“We are proud to own and operate our first foundry in the United States and look forward to expanding our workforce in northeastern Oklahoma,” Star Pipe Products President Dan McCutcheon said. “This project represents a substantial component of our long-term growth plan.”
