Frank Coda, vice president emeritus of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) since January, passed away June 25. He joined ASHRAE in 1981 as executive director and was named chief staff officer in 1984. “Frank Coda made a huge difference in the development and growth of ASHRAE,” said William G. Sutton, president of the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute, in a statement. “His counsel and guiding hand over 20 years of dedicated and outstanding service helped ASHRAE expand into a truly international organization that provides benefit to people around the world.”
