Bosch Thermotechnology mini-split heat pumps (KBIS Preview)

Bosch Thermotechnology’s new line of high-efficiency Climate 5000 ductless mini-split heat-pump systems are ideal for residential heating and cooling up to 48,000 Btu/hr., and are available for single- or multi-zone applications. The heat-pump systems function properly across an extended operating range from -13° to 122° F with indoor sound levels as low as 20 dBA in silent model, which Bosch states is quieter than a whisper at a library. The systems have a SEER rating up to 22. The indoor air handler regulates temperature levels in each room and can be programmed for automatic operation.
