The new 1775E, a five-inch grinder, is designed specifically for professional tuckpointers. The 1775E weighs 5.6 pounds, has an 8.5 amp, 11,000-rpm motor and meets UL(r) and OSHA requirements. The variable depth adjustment is spring-loaded and automatically moves back over the disk after the desired depth is adjusted on the wheel, while a fixed depth adjustment can override the spring-loaded guard, permitting it to be adjusted to the desired depth.
