Activant To Acquire Speedware

Activant™ Solutions announced it will acquire Speedware Corp., an enterprise software company based in Montreal, for $3.15 USD per share in cash.

Activant said the acquisition will help it grow in the wholesale trade and other markets. Prelude's Advanced Distribution System (ADS) is the company's software for wholesalers.
