Acquisitions… Grundfos Pumps Corp.

Denmark-based Grundfos Pumps Corp. acquired American pump manufacturer PACO Pumps from Swiss Sulzer Ltd. Executives of Grundfos say that the acquisition plays a strategic role in growth plans for the American market and is expected to increase sales by up to 30%.

“With this expansion of its manufacturing capabilities in the United States and Mexico, the Grundfos Group will be less dependent on fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate,” said Jens Jørgen Madsen, group president and CEO.
