Trade Shows, Conferences …The 2008 AHR Expo

The 2008 AHR Expo set a new all-time attendance record of 39,298 registered visitors (excluding exhibitors) Jan. 22-24, 2008, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. A new all-time record was also established for the number of registered international attendees (6,778), who came to the show from 132 countries.

In addition, show co-sponsors the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), along with the International Exposition Co., presented the 2008 AHR Expo Innovation Award Scholarship to Monmouth County Vocational School. The scholarship total of $8,850 came from Innovation Award entry fees contributed by over 100 companies.
