The IAPMO Standards Council issued a call for comments beginning Oct. 1, 2007, and ending Feb. 1, 2008, in accordance with the ANSI-designated 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)/Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC) code change timeline.
