HD Supply (Atlanta,GA) reported $2 billion in net sales for the
2010 fiscal second quarter ended August 1, an increase of $1 million vs. the
second quarter of fiscal 2009. Operating income of $26 million for the period
was up $7 million compared to the second quarter of fiscal 2009. Consolidated
net loss for the second quarter of fiscal 2010 was $115 million (including $37
million in non-cash charges to increase the valuation allowance), compared to a
net loss of $89 million for the same period in fiscal 2009.
