The ChemDrain can handle acids, bases, salts and organic media and is easier to install than traditional chemical waste systems because it is joined with a special formulated solvent cement — the most commonly used technique for joining thermoplastic pipe and fittings in the industry. The cement creates a molecular bond between the pipe and fitting, forming a tight seal impervious to leaks.
