A three-wall mural on the F.W. Webb wholesale store in West Harlem, New York is now complete. The west Harlem location opened in June. The exterior mural by renowned local graffiti artists Tats Cru took two and a half weeks to complete and covers three sides of the building at 2350 12th Ave. It visually represents F.W. Webb with images of plumbing and heating fixtures and PVF. It also highlights some of the brands that the location stocks.
Dakota Supply Group (DSG) announced the acquisition of Montana Waterworks & Irrigation (MTWW) in an asset purchase effective September 1. Montana Waterworks is a waterworks distributor serving Eastern Montana from its Billings location. This will be DSG’s first waterworks location in the state.
Company announces new series of training programs.

A. O. Smith announced a new series of training programs as a result of high-demand for its A. O. Smith University educational sessions. The company has two state-of-the-art training facilities, located in Ashland City and Johnson City, Tennessee, which held primarily virtual training sessions in 2020 with over 100,000 combined class attendances. Both facilities are utilized to train technicians, contractors and product representatives on a variety of products and topics.

The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and John Burns Real Estate Consulting (JBREC) released its quarterly Kitchen & Bath Market Index (KBMI) for the second quarter of 2021. With estimates showing an 11% growth in sales for Q2 vs. Q1, the report suggests continued growth in the Kitchen and Bath market, despite ongoing material shortages and rising labor costs.
Milwaukee Valve celebrated the ceremonial first cut of steel for the newest nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, Doris Miller (CVN 81). The ceremonial cut took place at Newport News Shipbuilding in Virginia, the location of the ship’s construction, but parts of the ship are being manufactured at the Milwaukee Valve bronze foundry and manufacturing facility in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin.
According to a recent McKinsey report, more than 90% of B2B companies have shifted to a virtual or hybridized sales model due to COVID-19. Though dramatic, this shift reveals an emerging trend away from face-to-face sales.
