Grandview, Mo.-based PRIER Products recently announced the appointment of two new associates.
Chris Campbell was named product quality engineer, while Ben Byler was named distribution manager.
Hired to be the liaison between research-and-development and manufacturing to make sure design intent is instilled in the company’s production facility, Campbell already has “jumped into several new projects, which is the kind of variety in a job that helped him decide to work at PRIER over other opportunities,” the company noted.
“This position is new to PRIER, so we needed someone with experience in product design, quality management and process improvement. Chris brings us all three of these skills in one package. We are glad to have him aboard,” said Scott Brady, engineering manager at PRIER.
Campbell grew up in St. Louis, Mo., and previously was working in Omaha, Neb.,
Byler will “become the glue between manufacturing and shipping that is necessary to maintain control over PRIER’s production from start to finish,” the company stated.
Byler received his training in the U.S. Air Force overseas and has managed logistics for a health-care IT company before starting with PRIER.
“We’re over the moon that we were able to track down Ben for this position. His experience and expertise in distribution have positioned him beautifully to take PRIER to the next level,” stated Brady Poskin, PRIER’s plant manager.
