F.W. Webb recently announced a series of personnel moves.
Rich Boynton is the new director of HVAC/R. Previously general manager of the company’s Hyannis, Mass., location, Boynton is overseeing sales and product management of heating, AC, mini-splits, VRV systems and commercial refrigeration. Starting in inside sales, Boynton has been with F.W. Webb for a total of 25 years, mostly in eastern Massachusetts. As a teenager, Boynton was encouraged by his grandfather to pursue a career in HVAC and he did by first earning an associate’s degree in HVAC technology. Boynton is licensed as a Mass. Oil-burner technician, EPA-certified technician and NATE-certified technician.
Paul Sferrazza, also known by many as “Wally,” is the new HVAC/R product manager. Sferrazza has been with Webb for more than 20 years, working in inside sales and as warehouse manager in Woburn, Mass.
In 1996, he came to the company with the acquisition of Energy Control Systems, where he started in the HVAC industry four years prior. In his new role at Webb, Sferrazza is working closely with manufacturers to ensure customers always have the most up-to-date HVAC/R products in inventory when they are needed, the company noted.
Ken Powell is the new industrial market manager at F.W. Webb. Powell’s combined company, industry and military experience is helping him support Webb industrial teams on behalf of customers. His key responsibilities are industrial business development and customer support. Since 2007, Powell has worked at various Webb locations in New York as an inside sales rep, inside sales supervisor, Power and Energy specialist and most recently industrial sales leader. Timothy Desmarais has been hired as the new operations manager of the F.W. Webb Fire Protection & Fabrication Division. Desmarais is involved in the day-today operations of the 50,000-sq.-ft., state-of-the-art facility for fire protection products, service and custom pipe fabrication in Canton, Mass. He has more than 10 years of previous industry experience, including eight in management. F.W.
