Crane acquires Westlock Controls

Crane Co. recently announced it acquired Westlock Controls from Emerson Electric Co., for cash consideration of $40 million. Westlock manufactures switchboxes, position transmitters and other solutions for networking, monitoring and controlling process valves.
With primary operations located in Saddle Brook, N.J., Westlock had 2016 sales of about $32 million. Crane spoke about the acquisition during an event it hosted at the recently completed Valve World Americas conference in Houston.
