Harleysville, Pa.-based Deacon Industrial Supply announced a bevy of recent new hires. Bryan VanSchaick has transitioned into the company’s sales training program after starting in the warehouse in 2016. Brian Sutkowski joined the Deacon purchasing department as one of two supply chain/inventory analysts. Mike Gonzalez joined the warehouse team, while Mark Lester is working with the company’s valve automation team as a technician. Shelby Hernandez, who started last year as a front-desk receptionist, has been promoted through Deacon’s purchasing department from an assistant to supply chain/inventory analyst. Finally, Dale Murphy joined the sales training program in May.
