Winston-Salem, N.C.-based plumbing supply company Murray Supply Company, a MORSCO brand, hosted a grand-opening celebration at its new Charlotte branch location from Oct. 2-6. The new location is a 124,000-square-foot facility that houses warehouse, counter sales and office space. The new branch is located at 701-C Griffith Road off Tyvola Road.

Murray Supply previously had two Charlotte locations. One operated as a plumbing supply house (301 W. 32^nd St.) and the other operated as a maintenance, repair and operations supplier to the multifamily housing industry (3010-D Hutchinson-McDonald Rd.). The new facility allows both to come together under one roof, greatly increasing the capacity to service their customers and grow the business, Murray explained.

The week-long grand-opening celebration featured daily counter days co-hosted by multiple manufacturers. Customers were greeted by Murray Supply sales associates, provided complimentary breakfast and lunch, and spent time visiting the vendor booths at the branch. Participating vendors included A. O. Smith, Victaulic, Oatey, Sioux Chief, NIBCO, Liberty Pumps, Diablo Tools, Lenox Tools, BrassCraft, Grundfos, Sloan, Bradley, Anvil, Milwaukee Tools, Kwikset and more.

On Thursday evening, Oct. 5, Murray Supply hosted a special red-carpet invitation-only event for business owners. Customers had the opportunity to meet one- on-one with branch associates and tour the new facility. Several vendor representatives also were on hand to greet guests. Musical entertainment for the evening was provided by several Murray Supply associates.
