Forged Steel Fittings
There is little or no change since last month’s report. On Oct. 4, 2017, Bonney Forge filed petitions for antidumping and countervailing duties on forged steel fittings from the People’s Republic of China, Italy and Taiwan. Following the petition, one major importer of forged steel fittings announced a 10% price increase effective Dec. 1, 2017. The petition is in the early stages, but could affect both supply and pricing of forged steel fittings by domestic manufacturers and importers.
