The American Supply Association’s Monthly Pulse Report provides a regular snapshot of performance for the PHCP-PVF industry.
For the month ending Oct. 31, member wholesaler-distributors in the Midwest led the way, reporting a median sales increase of 17% compared to the same month in 2016.
Calendar year-to-date, respondents in ASA’s North Central region reported the highest median sales growth at 8.5%, but it was respondents out west reporting the highest median increase for the trailing 12 months at 8.5%.
64.3% of respondents out west also reported an increase in gross margin percentages for the month of October vs. 2016. 80% of respondents in ASA’s Southeast region reported company year-to-date profit before taxes had increased.
The highest percentage of respondents having more full-time-equivalent employees compared to a year ago was reported by 92.9% of respondents out west.
