Ipswich, Massachusetts-based pipe products master distributor United Pipe & Steel Corp., the recipient of the 2017 Supply House Times PVF Ring of Honor award, recently announced a pair of promotions in its operations department.
Jon Gregor and Jason Brewer, United Pipe & Steel noted, have advanced to the role of regional operations manager, which are crucial positions within the company that ensure overall safe and efficient operations of all warehouses, the company pointed out.
“Jon has been advancing with the company since joining in 2009, and his hard work and dedication prove he’s the right fit for the job,” said Jon Renko, United Pipe’s vice president of operations. “Jason has been a warehouse manager for more than eight years and in two locations, as well as being part of our very important new-facility launch team for our last several branch openings. He’s proven himself to be a committed advocate while leading his employees to consistently improve warehouse operations.”
To better serve customers and warehouse operations, the regional operations manager roles will be geographically divided into two areas of responsibility:
• Gregor will supervise distribution-center teams in Ipswich, Massachusetts, Easton, Pennsylvania, Elyria, Ohio, Franklin, Indiana, Loves Park, Illinois and Burlington, North Carolina.
• Brewer will supervise distribution center teams in Corsicana, Texas, Topeka, Kansas, Birmingham, Alabama, Apopka, Florida, as well as Rialto and Stockton, California.
