PVF industry veteran James Mullally died June 21 at the age of 76. Mullally worked in the steel industry for more than 50 years and was retired from Silbo Industries, the largest importer in the U.S. of fittings, flanges and forgings for carbon-steel and stainless steel pipe and tubing. Mullally, Silbo’s vice president of product development and sales at the time of his retirement in November 2016, spent 51 years in the industry. He started at Gulf Supply in Beaumont, Texas and spent 27 years with Silbo in New Jersey or Texas. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Valerie, three children and numerous grandchildren.
