President George H. W. Bush died Nov. 30, and many across the nation are remembering the 41st U.S. president through words and photos, including Victaulic, a nearly 100-year-old manufacturer of pipe-joining and flow-control solutions.
When Victaulic commissioned its Alburtis, Pennsylvania, foundry in January 1990, the company cast horseshoes, which were sent to the White House commemorating the event. The sport was one of the late President Bush’s favorite pastimes.
The above is a photo of President Bush enjoying the Victaulic cast horseshoes along with a letter from Victaulic past President and Chairman George Naumann.
