The impact of distributor attendance continues to expand the value of NETWORK, ASA’s flagship event. The American Supply Association, which represents the industry’s leading distributors, conducted its annual conference from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2,  in Scottsdale, Arizona and is reporting that those distributors attending NETWORK represented annual sales in plumbing, PVF, showroom and waterworks in excess of $25 billion annually. This continued growth shows the importance that ASA’s annual conference has in providing the industry  with a very important market place to meet, connect and conduct  business especially at the end of the year when many firms are looking to hit financial targets

“It’s actually pretty astonishing to see the magnitude of how important NETWORK has become to the industry and its ability to facilitate business connections. We are extremely grateful to our distributor members who faithfully attend our annual meeting making the value it represents so impactful,” ASA CEO Mike Adelizzi said.

Nearly 800 formal meetings took place between the distributor attendees and the 80 manufacturers participating in the NETWORK conference booth sessions,  enhancing the conference value as a premier networking industry event. Unlike other important industry networking programs, NETWORK added the opportunity to attend 12 educational sessions to hear and learn from leading authorities on vital topics.

Next year, ASA will celebrate its 50th Anniversary leading the industry. On Sept. 25-27, Washington, D.C., will play host for NETWORK, and the organization already has enhanced the convention program to include an evening celebration at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. In addition to added special events commemorating the anniversary, the association is planning opportunities for attendees to connect with elected leaders to advance critical industry issues.
