Site work currently is underway for the construction of a new Ferguson showroom and warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida.

Stellar, a firm providing award-winning construction management at-risk, design-build and general contracting services for a range of commercial and public sector markets, is the design-builder for the new Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery and warehouse at 11511 Phillips Highway in Jacksonville. The new location includes a 17,238-square-foot high-end showroom, a 56,600-square-foot warehouse and a 3,520-square-foot retail and checkout area for trade professionals.

Ferguson turned to Stellar to design and construct the new facility after outgrowing its current space at 3003 Phillips Highway. The showroom and warehouse are currently in two separate locations, but this new location will consolidate them on one site. Stellar also is coordinating the design and infrastructure of the showroom to accommodate its high-end kitchen, bath and lighting displays.

“We’ve been industry partners with Ferguson for many years,” said John Bowles, division manager for Stellar’s Commercial Group. “In the past, Ferguson has supplied Stellar with various piping and equipment for our construction projects. Now, we have the pleasure of serving them by designing and building this great new facility right here in our community.”

The new facility will service Ferguson’s many vendors and will also be open to the public. Stellar expects to complete the project by August 2019.
