RectorSeal’s rooftop pipe support is a sturdy, easy-to-install system for presenting an organized, aesthetic alternative to wood blocks and other unprofessional jerry-rigged methods, the company points out. The RPS is designed for mounting HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing and condensate piping or ductwork, walkway grates and solar panels on commercial flat rooftops without roof penetration. The RPS is a 0.15” thick ultraviolet light-stabilized, weather-resistant copolymer shell with a high-density foam core that provides insulation, vibration insulation and roof membrane protection. The 7.5” (wide) by 8” (long) by 5” (high) RPS weighs only 0.78 pounds, but can withstand load capacities of up to 250 pounds or 350 pounds each when used with universal strut channel. The RPS has five numbered slots to keep 2” and smaller pipe aligned and organized during installation, although it can accommodate larger pipe diameters.
