Duravit has re-teamed with Sieger Design for the Happy D.2 Plus collection. The newest addition to Duravit’s Happy D. product line, Happy D.2 Plus reimagines the series to reflect current trends in colors, designs and finishes. Happy D.2 Plus encompasses the full suite of bathroom products, including clean-lined bathtubs and above-counter wash basins, stand-alone consoles and semi-tall cabinets, and tech-forward mirrors. The new, dark and moody Anthracite Matt finish option for furniture and ceramics provides an additional option for those looking to inject a fresh modernity into the bath, the company notes.

The above-counter washbasins feature a narrow, flattened rim and are available in a range of three widths: 15 3/4”, 19 5/8”, and 23 5/8”. The appearance comes from the new color options of Anthracite Matt or a two-tone contrast, with glossy White on the inside and Anthracite Matt on the outside. The color concept extends to the toilets and bidets that are now available in the darker hue to complement the collection. The interiors of these products are finished in glossy Anthracite for optimum hygiene and cleanliness. All ceramics are also available in glossy White.

The bathroom furniture features rounded contours, handle-free fronts and slim edges. The pullout drawer vanities are available in four sizes — 25 5/8”, 39 3/8”, 51 1/8” and 63” — and can be organized to a T with optional drawer inserts. For additional storage, semi-tall cabinets at 15 3/4” wide with practical door racks come in two heights: 34 5/8” and 52 1/2”.

Happy D.2 Plus offers a total of 11 front body surfaces to choose from, including wood or Matt in light and dark shades alike. The Graphite Super Matt finish features an anti-fingerprint coating to keep it consistently spotless. For even more customization, the cabinet console panel can be selected from six finishes, enabling a range of combinations such as monochrome, tone-on-tone or contrasting.

For its mirrors, Happy D.2 Plus offers a Duravit first: round mirrors with light that reflect the trademark Happy D.2 Plus shape. The lighting strips that border the mirror come in two finishes: the precise sunburst Radial or the flowing, lined Organic. The models can be fitted with a sensor switch featuring dimmable light and optional mirror heating, or with an icon control on the mirror surface to manage mirror heating, ambient light mode and a switch for colored light. At a luminosity of more than 300 lux, this option’s light color can be continuously adjusted from 2,700 (warm light) to 6,500 (cold light) kelvin. When purchased in a set of two, the mirrors are synchronized using wireless technology.

The bathtubs round out the collection, made from glossy acrylic or in Graphite Super Matt with seamless paneling. The tub is available in freestanding or back-to-wall variants. It provides a compact exterior to accommodate flexible space planning, while still offering a roomy interior that is generously proportioned for pure relaxation, the company notes.
