With their signature “industrial chic” look, Sonoma Forge faucets help create a fresh new identity for an aging lakeside vacation home, the company said. Once a hideaway where Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. relaxed between performances at nearby Harrah’s casino, Villa Harrah got a top-to-bottom makeover from Solanna Design. The new look blends clean lines and modern materials with a touch of industrial chic.
“We wanted to incorporate some fun and unusual materials while avoiding trends and defying labels, and Sonoma Forge’s products lent a nice foil to the cleaner aesthetic of the modern finishes we used throughout the home,” said Principal of Solanna Design, Anna Shay, who cast the distinctive WaterBridge Collection as the starring role in each of the home’s en suite bathrooms. Shay mixed in WherEver faucets, the widespread version of the WaterBridge Collection, which mount both deck and wall for extra flexibility, and she chose the Asian-inspired waterfall spout in a Rustic Nickel finish to contrast with the otherwise sleek, modern spaces.
In the kitchen, Sonoma Forge’s Cuvee Series faucet in Rustic Copper, with coordinating accessories, adds industrial flavor while showing off its prominent, arching spout and offset lever handles. Meanwhile, in the great room, Villa Harrah’s wet bar area features a Brut Collection faucet with an elbow spout that celebrates the beauty of raw plumbing parts.
“Sonoma Forge faucets and fittings celebrate the rich history of metalworking while offering refreshingly modern choices in faucets and bath accessories,” said Sonoma Forge President Erik Ambjor. “They’re an ideal fit for a home like Villa Harrah, with such a storied past, as well as any residential, hospitality, or commercial environment.
