Hermitage, Pennsylvania-based manufacturers representative Preferred Sales Inc. acquired Bernardini-Link & Associates out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Effective Oct. 1, Dave Bernardini and Rick Link will join the PSI team as members of the company’s outside sales team.
Both Bernardini and Link have combined more than 60 years of sales experience with an active contractor following throughout western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Their sales efforts have accounted for millions of dollars in sales across their represented territory. Bernardini – Link & Associates operated from 2006 through the acquisition by PSI.
“Our current team has maintained a diligent and strategic focus on the hydronic and HVAC industries for several years,” said Alan Guidish, president of Preferred Sales Inc. “The addition of two well-respected individuals in both Dave and Rick will take us to another level regarding product demand creation in the secondary hydronic and HVAC markets for our manufacturers and customers. Manufacturers joining the Preferred Sales Inc. line card include AIC Alliance, Beckett Corp., and Myson.

In addition to this acquisition, Preferred Sales recently added two new outside sales professionals to their existing sales team.
David Lumpp joined Preferred Sales’ western Pennsylvania and West Virginia sales team in an outside sales role. He is a graduate of Penn State University and brings several years of sales experience from roles with CVS and ADP.
William Golden joined Preferred Sales’ southern Ohio sales team with a focus on outside sales in the Columbus area. He is a graduate of Franklin University and brings more than 25 years outside sales experience to Preferred Sales, including wholesale plumbing sales, retail plumbing and electrical sales, and business development for a Columbus-area contractor.
