F.W. Webb Co. announced the acquisition of Martisco Corp., a water and sewer supply distributor in Liverpool, New York. This marks the company’s sixth waterworks location in New York and further strengthens its presence in the area, the Northeast-based distributor explained.

“Over the last several years we have been investing in our waterworks talent and offerings. The addition of a new waterworks distribution supply yard in central New York will allow us to better support our customers in the area,” said Jeff Pope, president of F.W. Webb.

Martisco Corp. is a family-owned company that has been in business for 60 years. The Liverpool location will operate as F.W. Webb, and the Martisco associates are now a part of the F.W. Webb team.

“We will build on the strong legacy that Warren Jenkins, Martisco’s former owner, left behind,” said Rory Budds, director, F.W. Webb Water Works. “F.W. Webb and Martisco share the same principles. We will continue to always put the customer first, maintain a strong inventory and partner with industry-leading manufacturers.”

F.W. Webb first entered the water works business in 2016, with the acquisition of Water Works Supply Corp., a Massachusetts company with 60 years of experience in the industry. Last year, the company acquired waterworks locations in Rochester, Latham and Black River, New York, from the Vellano Corp. Today, F.W. Webb has 16 waterworks stocking locations across the Northeast.

The division provides utility piping products and accessories for water distribution, sewer lines, drainage systems, pumping stations and treatment plants. It also offers a UL-classified fabrication facility that provides tapping, grooving and flanged piping services for pipe ranging in sizes 3 inches to 48 inches in diameter.
