Frank Laudino Jr died at the age of 67.
"It is with the most extreme sadness that I announce the death of my friend, brother, great business partner, and daily lunch buddy, Frank Laudino Jr at the age of 67," said Barry Portnoy, CEO/president of Aaron & Co. "Frank was predeceased by his brother Richard, and is survived by his parents Betty and Frank Sr., his longtime companion Vicky Zino, his sister Patti Hoffman , sister in-law Patty Laudino, his nieces and nephews Alicia, Kathryn, Michael and Brandon, great nieces and nephews Elizabeth, Sophia, Anthony, Anna, and baby Johnnie, lots of cousins, and our Aaron and Company family. After battling cancer for way too long, our 'JR' is now at peace.
"Frank joined us at Aaron and Company after graduating from Rutgers with a degree in forestry more than 40 years ago," Portnoy continued. "This gentle man was also a musician; he played guitar. Over the years Frank was involved in many company initiatives; he was involved in the massive move into 10 Industrial Drive in New Brunswick, selecting and implementing our first computer systems, and collaborating on our first “quick codes” some that we still use today. When it became clear that computers were critical to our future; Frank took on the IT responsibilities for the company and he did it really well, he was our solid backbone. Frank really touched everybody in the company because of his role, he was very special to us, we would not be the company that we are today without Frank’s dedication. Frank loved Aaron and Company and was very proud of our team."
