Warren, Michigan-based Jomar Valve, a valve manufacturer in commercial, industrial and residential industries, announced the promotion of Adam Stier as the company’s new president, effective Jan. 1.
Stier has dedicated more than 13 years to Jomar. In this time, he has held numerous positions in the company, working his way up from regional sales manager to national sales and marketing manager and then to vice president of operations, with his most recent role being vice president of Jomar Valve. Alongside his work experience, he holds a master’s in business association from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Throughout the years, Stier has proven to be an imperative asset to Jomar Valve, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and driving the effort for measurable progress, the company stated. With experience ranging from sales and marketing strategy to product development and sourcing to building an organizational culture that stimulates innovation and creativity, Stier represents the next generation of leadership for Jomar Valve, it added.
Stier and his team recently completed a Very Narrow Aisle project, providing a 35% increase in warehouse capacity. The success of this project has led to dramatic gains in efficiency, preparing Jomar Valve for the next stages of their continual growth, Jomar noted.
