During this unprecedented crisis, the athlete and actor have been replaced by everyday workers doing heroic things. Today, we celebrate nurses and other first responders such as police, fire and paramedics, trucker drivers, grocery store clerks and farmers as our new heroes.
And speaking of heroes, ASA and our members have enjoyed a long relationship with World Vision. This organization and its teams continue to provide life-sustaining support to those less fortunate in the U.S and around the world.
As of April, World Vision reached 5.3 million people in promotion of prevention efforts and 154,326 caregivers provided essential materials, while 458,200 pounds of supplies were distributed.
