One of the nation’s largest privately-held home builders honors Uponor for going “above and beyond” for a seventh consecutive year.
Houston-based David Weekley Homes, one of the largest privately-held home builders in the United States, announced the winners of its 16th annual National Preferred Partner Survey, recognizing suppliers “that have gone above and beyond throughout the previous year.” For the seventh consecutive year, Uponor North America (Uponor) ranked among 11 other elite building-product manufacturers as a “National Preferred Partner.”
The award recognizes field and manufacturing partners that have consistently operated at world-class levels, as determined by the home builder’s supplier evaluation platform, according to the announcement. Anchored by the National Preferred Trading Partner Survey, the comprehensive process evaluates companies in the areas of quality and customer service.
“Our goal is to exceed the expectations of our homebuyers, and we can’t do that without quality products and services,” said John Schiegg, vice president of supply chain services for David Weekley Homes. “We are only as good as the company we keep, and our experiences have taught us that our National Preferred Partners are the best of the best.
“David Weekley Homes challenges our trade partners to meet the highest standards, which allows us to offer a world-class experience for our homebuyers,” he continued. “Uponor has consistently exemplified our rigorous measures, and we congratulate them on their recognition as a National Preferred Partner.”
Uponor began participating in the National Preferred Partner Survey in 2014. A total of 142 companies were evaluated this year, and 16 percent achieved the designation of National Preferred Partner.
