As consumers and the industry gravitate toward more hygienic-friendly products, Elkay introduced the Elkay Smartwell touchless beverage dispenser, allowing users to create beverages, view nutritional information and maintain units all through a QR code on their personal mobile device.
A few key highlights:
- Ability to mix zero-calorie fruit flavors and add natural sweetener and enhancements, such as electrolytes, vitamin C or caffeine to still or sparkling water;
- An online portal allows staff to monitor units, maintain notifications and manage orders from anywhere; and
- A WaterSentry filter that is NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 certified for the reduction of lead, particulate, chlorine, taste and odor.
