The Granite Group has announced the retirement of Senior Vice President Scott Morris, who will be leaving the company at the end of the month after 43 years. In his time at The Granite Group, Morris worked his way up from the warehouse to eventually becoming a member of the Senior Executive Team. In this final role at The Granite Group, Morris has lead several key initiatives that have helped drive the company’s explosive growth over the last 10 years.
Morris’ last day with The Granite Group will be Friday, April 29, 2022.
“It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement at the end of April. I’ve been truly fortunate to work for The Granite Group for 43 years, performing almost every job at some point in my career, in several different locations,” said Morris. “I have made many friendships within the company, and many more outside the company including customers, manufacturers, and manufacturers reps, all of which I am grateful to have, and which will remain for my lifetime. It is now time to step back and enjoy a new chapter in my life with my wife Cindy and my entire family. I thank you all for this journey.”
As Morris moves on to retirement, there is no doubt he will be leaving behind a wonderful legacy built on a career that positively impacted The Granite Group at every level of the organization.
“Scott has had a remarkable career at our company. Starting over 40 years ago in the warehouse of our Keene location all the way to the highest ranks of the organization, Scott has filled literally almost every role and always done it with success. We are lucky to have had Scott as part of our team for such an outstanding career and I wish him and Cindy well on this well-deserved next chapter in life,” said Bill Condron, CEO of The Granite Group.
