How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?
CT: About 6 years when I started with Tim Morales in June of 2016.
What drew you into the industry?
CT: Tim Morales recruited me and was immediately interested once I learned how broad this industry is. There is something new to learn every day and it is all tied together in some way. I enjoy problem-solving, and the more knowledge I am able to gain, the easier it is to locate a solution.
What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?
CT: Building relationships with customers and having them be your go-to person to look for a solution. The experience of getting to meet them in person after an extended period is like seeing a long-lost friend.
What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?
CT: It’s not the stereotypical plumbing culture most people think of. The industry is being innovated each year as technology progresses. There are “smart” products that are available, just as you would think of the newly released iPhone.
What has been the proudest moment in your career so far?
CT: The feedback from customers about the service they’ve received. Knowing that you’ve made a positive impact from the distributor to the end user makes your efforts more rewarding and helps build a lasting relationship.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
CT: I enjoy staying active whether it’s playing in a weekly kickball league or taking my German Shepherd, Max, to the Disc Golf Course. Since COVID-19, Max has come to work with me daily and become a key member of the warehouse team.
