Merfish United has announced its decision to change its name to United Pipe & Steel Corp., a name the company previously held prior to combining its business with Merfish Pipe & Supply in 2019. The name change will be effective on February 20, 2023.

“This move resonates with the diverse customer segments we serve, the broad array of pipe products we offer, and who we are as a company, with a strong brand recognition built over more than 40 years,” explains Greg Leidner, CEO.  “WE ARE UNITED with our customers, our supplier partners, and of course our employees, and we look forward to this exciting new chapter in our company’s evolution.”  

In the coming weeks, the new United Pipe & Steel Corp. logo will appear on the company’s proprietary fleet of 60+ trucks, its facilities, website, documentation, and communications. Wholesale customers around the country can continue to rely on the same knowledgeable staff, weekly deliveries, and best-in-class customer service that United Pipe & Steel Corp. has always been known for providing.
