Air-to-Water Inverter Scroll Modular Heat Pump
The YORK YMAE Air-to-Water Inverter Scroll Modular Heat Pump is engineered to drive energy efficiency and reduce operational costs in small to mid-sized buildings in North America, such as offices and schools. Featuring new-to-market electronic vapor injection scroll compression technology, the YORK YMAE achieves best-in-class operational capacities, reaching hot water temperatures as high as 140° F in ambient conditions as low as 13° F. Use of the low-GWP refrigerant R-454B further supports decarbonization goals and meets 2025 Environmental Protection Agency regulations. Highly flexible, the modular YMAE features two-pipe and four-pipe versions and serves a wide range of applications. The four-pipe system makes it possible to simultaneously heat and cool different areas of a building by moving heat from one area to another, improving efficiency and occupant comfort. The heat pump’s modular design makes it possible to multiply capacity with a minimal footprint.
