Fujitsu General America held its sixth National Distributor Conference in Boston. The conference, which took place the week of October 7, was held at the Encore Boston Harbor Casino. Roughly 260 reps and distributors attended.
The theme of the event was “(R)evolution,” a play on the words “revolution” and “evolution.” Fujitsu is dedicated to providing industry-leading technology with environmental sustainability in mind while simultaneously continuing to become easier to do business with. The company’s decision to adopt R-32 refrigerant and improve contractor programs is a testament to that evolution.
“The future is very bright for Fujitsu and our distribution network,” said President of Fujitsu General America, Tomokazu Hosoi. “We are excited about introducing our new R-32 products beginning in Q1 2025, as well as our new contractor portal, called Access. The heat pump industry is also experiencing tailwinds from the Inflation Reduction Act, so we’re very positive about the year to come.”
“The 2024 National Distributor Conference was the largest in our company history and is a testament to the commitment of our industry partners and the ability to EVOLVE in an ever-changing industry,” said Dennis Stinson, SVP of Sales. “This alone proves that choosing the right partners matters.”
Between breakout and general sessions, attendees relaxed, visited Fenway Park, went offshore fishing, or toured historical sites in Boston. As keynote speaker, acclaimed runner, philanthropist, and past organizer of the Boston Marathon, Dave McGillivray, spoke with the crowd about his legendary athletic career and making an impact. Mr. Masuda, President & CEO of Fujitsu General Limited, traveled from Japan to attend the event.
“I look forward to the next National Distributor Conference in Palm Springs, CA,” said Hosoi. “Thank you to all who attended.”
