Rheem's Classic board of directors made an historic contribution by distributing $200,000 to 23 charities that provided volunteer support at its 2006 charity golf tournament. The Fort Smith-based PGA Tour sanctioned event has been played at the Hardscrabble Country Club in Arkansas since 1998. This year's Rheem Classic fundraiser boosted the nine-year tournament total to $1.1 million in charitable contributions. Rheem is a brand of the Heating and Cooling Division of Rheem Manufacturing Co.
