Anvil International has promoted Harold Arrowsmith to vice president of sales - Mechanical Division, and added John Smayda as the Eastern U.S. director of sales - Fire Protection Division.

Arrowsmith has worked for Anvil for more than 15 years in a variety of positions, most recently as the Midwest regional sales manager of the Mechanical Division. Harold will remain at Anvil's University Park, IL, location.

Smayda, located in Mentor, OH, has more than 35 years of experience in sales and operations management serving the mechanical, industrial, and fire protection markets.

Brian Reef, with more than 27 years of PVF experience, will continue as the Western U.S. director of sales for AnvilStar.

Arrowsmith, Smayda and Reef will all report directly to Dean Taylor, Anvil's vice president of sales and marketing.
