Distribution network Affiliated Distributors paid tribute to affiliates and suppliers at its Recognition of Excellence awards ceremony for various divisions in September, held in conjunction with A-D's North American meeting. The Recognition of Excellence awards identify individual affiliates and suppliers who have excelled in one or all of the following areas: marketing, performance, and leadership. Here are some of the winners:

Affiliated Distributors presented Sarah Wright of Murray Supply Co., Winston-Salem, N.C., with its A-D MVP - Plumbing Division award, which recognizes outstanding effort by an individual at the grass-roots level promoting A-D internally and externally, all the while contributing to the overall welfare of the group. Affiliated Distributors honored Columbia Pipe & Supply, Chicago, with its Affiliate of the Year, Leadership - Plumbing Division award during its Recognition of Excellence Awards ceremony for the PVF and Plumbing Divisions in September. Affiliated Distributors honored Thomas & Betts with its Supplier of the Year, Leadership award for the Electrical Supply Division (ESD) including the United States and Canada.
