Noland Co. has created a regional management structure to provide better corporate support and oversight of branch operations.

Mark A. Smith, previously director of sales and marketing for industrial/electrical, will head the Mid-Atlantic region, which encompasses branches in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and most of Virginia.

David E. Allen, formerly manager of the company's Greenville, N.C., complex, will direct the Southeast region, which covers North Carolina, South Carolina, southeastern Virginia and north Georgia.

H.E. Rhodes Jr., who had been director of sales and marketing for air conditioning, will oversee branches in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and the Florida panhandle.

Arthur A. Brown, previously director of sales and marketing for plumbing and heating, will manage most of Noland's branches in Florida and Georgia and those in Texas.

The regional managers will have full authority for the branches in their regions. They will report to Ken King, vice president/marketing and branch operations.
