Atlanta-based wholesaler Dealers Supply Co. has signed an agreement with NORDYNE to add Maytag to its HVAC offering. This makes the Atlanta region first to have access to the Maytag residential heating and cooling product line.

"NORDYNE's business practices, product quality and customer service parallel Dealers Supply's business practices," said Richard Laurens, president/COO of Dealers Supply. "Combine that with Maytag's reputation for reliability, and the product is a great fit for our business."

Dealers Supply, which has 12 branches in Georgia, is so meticulous when it comes to adding a residential equipment line that Maytag is only the second line it has added in 20 years, Laurens said.

Earlier this year, NORDYNE signed a deal to manufacture and market HVAC equipment under the Maytag brand. The Maytag product line will carry a 10-year parts warranty, and its M1010 Series also will include a 10-year labor warranty. Maytag dealers will be reimbursed at street rate under the labor warranty, and even can opt for flat rate for a small upgrade.

Dealers Supply Co. serves the residential, new construction, replacement and light commercial markets.
