ImproveNet, Inc., a provider of value chain automation software and online services for the building materials industry, successfully completed its merger with Scottsdale, Ariz.-based eTechLogix, a privately owned firm. eTechLogix is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of ImproveNet. Since the merger, ImproveNet relocated its corporate headquarters from Redwood City, Calif., to Scottsdale.
The company also reconfigured its board of directors, naming Jeffrey Rasses chairman and CEO, Homayoon Farsi co-chairman and president and Naser Ahmad co-chairman and chief technology officer. Also, the company hired former Reynolds and Reynolds marketing and business development executive Jay Stead to its board of directors. Stead is currently the managing director of Mokka Enterprises, a technology-oriented investment firm.
Ronald Cooper, former chairman, president and CEO of ImproveNet, will retain a seat on the board.
With the merger, the eTechLogix brand will be renamed Smart FusionT. The change should occur within the next two months.
ImproveNet and eTechLogix have 45 employees combined, with offices in Scottsdale, Carmel, Calif., and operations in India and Dhaka.
