With the close of the spring season comes the conclusion of a variety of industry events held around the country. Regional and local gatherings of wholesalers, manufacturers and reps provide unique value to association members, some of whom may not necessarily always be able to attend ASA's Annual Meeting.

Likewise, these regional sessions offer national programs, such as Education Foundation's "Essentials of Profitable PHCP Distribution" to be brought to the marketplace of many more of our members' employees and managers who don't customarily travel.

Already this year, the "Essentials" program has been brought to hundreds of PHCP wholesaler and manufacturer personnel. Programs have been held in Indianapolis, Southern California, Boston and Chicago. More of these valuable, full-day sessions are being scheduled for the Southeastern states later this year. "Essentials" will also be the focus of a comprehensive one-day mini-convention held in conjunction with the ASA Convention and ISH North America in Las Vegas (September 29 - October 2).
