Boltex Manufacturing has completed installation of a 6,500-ton mechanical press forging line. This enables the company to produce closed die flange forgings up to and including 14 inch 150 nominal size flanges. The new line is equipped with inductive billet heating, robotic loading and a patented hot billet shearing system.
