John Malloy has assumed the role of CEO of Victaulic Co. as of March 1 following the retirement of Joseph Trachtenberg, who retired after 30 years with the company. Trachtenberg continues to serve as chairman of the board.

Malloy has spent the last two years as president and COO of the pipe joining manufacturer. Prior to that he had served in the HVAC sector since 1982 with Carrier Corp. and Carrier's parent, United Technologies.
