Ralph Suppa was named vice president and general manager of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating effective Jan. 1. Also, the CIPH board announced that Suppa will succeed Ed Hardison as president in June 2002.
Suppa joined the CIPH staff in June 1988. In addition to serving as general manager of CIPH, he is manager of both the Plumbing Industry Advisory Council and the Canadian Hydronics Council and general manager of both the Canadian Water Quality Association and the Canadian Association of Pump Manufacturers.
"I am stepping down as president of CIPH," Hardison said, but added that he is not retiring." It's time for a change. Ralph will bring some new experience and new ideas to CIPH."
Hardison said he is not retiring and would be willing to serve CIPH in some other capacity.
