Alloy Master Supply, Ltd. (AMS), was formed in July as a master distributor of high temperature alloys in ASME/ASTM SA/A335-P grade pressure piping and ASME/ASTM SA/A182-F grade pressure fittings.

AMS describes itself as a "niche player" in that it has narrowed its product lines to stay within 1/2-inch nominal through 2-inch nominal pipe size range. All inventory is Exxon-approved with mill test reports.

President Mike Christopher spent nine years as general manager for Specialty Pipe and Tube with the Japanese trading company MC Tubular Products. Prior to that, he worked for 14 years withwith Tubesales, a distributor, and later TW Metals and later TW Metals as a branch manager.
