The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) has released the first disc of the Technical Institute HVAC/R Training Manual 3 interactive CD-ROM. The three-year project began in October 2001and is expected to conclude in September 2004. This program begins with the comprehensive instruction of heat pump theory including water-source heat pumps. Topics covered include computer-room environmental control, economizers, fans and blowers, air filtration and distribution, evaporative condensers and cooling towers and water treatment amongst others. These provide a course of study for RSES members wanting to obtain Certificate Member (CM) status.
